Solar Panel Kits For Home Use In India

Public Appeal

Yes, this is possible. Hello, Welcome to Someone. Somewhere. And, thank you for all your support. Today, we're a family of 58 members. And we have delivered 12 success stories in last one and a half years. And this wouldn't have been possible without you. I am sure that together, we can redefine India. Our next project is to bring electricity to a tribal village. This village named Kahtisitra lies on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan. There are 100 families in the village that live in complete darkness. We wish to bring solar electricity to their homes.

And, we need your support in this task. Don't ask that who is responsible for this sorry state of the village. We saw a problem and we wish to fix it wihtout asking any questions. The way The Ugly Indian is doing it work on, mouth shut. Similarly, we want to work and not ask any question because this is also a part of our country. And, I am quite sure that when we come together, we can make India shine and rise. In one kit, there are two solar lamps and one mobile charger that costs around INR 25,003,000.

So, to light up homes of 100 families, we'll be needing around INR 250,000350,000. The task seems difficult but I am determined that when we all come together, it will be done easily. Come, join us in the Project RISE! Members of Someone. Somewhere can see our progress report on our Website. Go to our Website someonesomewhere, we have added out Progress Report in the About section. Friends, there are plenty of villages that need such work but we want to start from this village. Will you join us To join hands, check the Get Involved section in our Website.

Solar Powered!

Welcome to the Teeny Greeny my name is Rob Greenfield and this is my off the grid in the city tiny house life Last Fall I left my apartment to live a simpler life I left behind the convenience of living on the electrical grid it was all too easy for me to waste energy when I had a seemingly infinite supply at the flip of a switch or push of a button Here at the Teeny Greeny I harvest my energy from the sun with these solar panels I thought about getting a whole larger system.

So that I could charge large appliances but I decided I didn't really need that much electricity and I wanted to keep things simple I've got this 20watt panel from Goal Zero and this 36watt panel from Endless Sun Solar both of them charge a battery and can also charge devices directly too This gives me plenty of energy to charge my laptop Powerup the 3 watt light bulb in my house my bike lights and my headlamp and shave my beard Most of the things that take electricity have an electricity free alternative.

I use this oldschool press to make my orange juice I don't need a fridge because i buy dried goods and purchase small quantities of produce at a time Since I eat a planet based diet I don't have to worry about meat either and And I don't use a microwave because I cook from scratch and spend time with my food my stove uses propane I do my laundry off the grid too and hang it out to dry Instead of watching TV I spend my time outdoors or with my friends.

And I'm going to build a bicycle powered blender too I found that I just don't need much electricity at all and that my life is much more stressfree without all the electronic gagdets Also it's easier to produce all the energy I need with solar panels If I reduce my needs but my entire life isn't off the grid When I'm at a friends house of course I use the grid and I plug in my computer at the coffee shop or library One day, we'll all have renewable energy.

How MPPT is Beter Than PWM Solar Charge Controller SuKam Comparison Kit

This is the comparison kit of SuKam PWM versus MPPT solar charge controller. This kit has two channels and each channel has four meters. In four meters, the battery voltage, battery current, solar voltage and solar current are displayed. For example, let's first take the PWM charger. In the first channel, PWM charger is connected which is connected to 12V SuKam Bazooka tubular battery of 15 AH. In the second channel, MPPT solar charge controller is connected which is also connected to SuKam's Bazooka 150 AH, 12 V tubular battery. As we can see.

In the demo tool kit, both the charge controller has the same input voltage which is 17.4V. This means we have applied 17.4V to PWM and to MPPT charger as well. Now we will switch the battery on. Now we have connected the battery to PWM charger. Its battery voltage is 12.5V which is displayed in the panel. Similarly, now we will connect the battery to the MPPT charger. The voltage is displayed as 12.4V. Now both the chargers are on. Now we will check the readings on the comparison kit. First we will check the readings of PWM.

Charger. As you can see, solar voltage input has decreased from 17V to 13.7V and the battery voltage is 13.3V. Solar input current is 9amp and the battery input current is 8.9amp. Now we will check MPPT. In MPPT, the solar input current is 9amp but the battery input current is 11amp. Here we can see there is a boost in the current. At the same time, solar panel voltage is the same as applied before which is 17.4V. We can see from this demo that MPPT boosts the current in the battery.

Installing Solar Panels

Photo voltaic cells are an important focus of our retrofit. The photo voltaic or PV Cells are destined for the garage roof. There is enough space there to accommodate the 1.2 kW array. Current government rebates apply to the installation of the array but rebates are subject to change so you will need to check if you qualify. The panels are mounted on aluminium frames. This is vital to ensure that they are set to the correct angle. In this location it's around 7 degrees. When it is finished we are hoping to generate about 7kwh per day which goes back into the.

Grid. It may even give us some return. The panels are interconnected and the electricity fed through to an inverter. The PV Cells have a life expectancy of more than 25 years and they are virtually maintenance free so you can be assured of getting a good return on your investment. Installing a 1.2 kW array of photovoltaic cells and connecting into the grid is a relatively simple exercise. The finished array looks very neat and in these conditions will be paying its way in no time. Ok, there it is, the photovoltaic's are installed on the roof. They are wired into here, this.

How a Portable Solar Lighting System Works

As we know we get a lot of free things in the world, one of which is solar energy and we should use it to its fullest. SuKam has come up with a new product Solar DC Home Lighting System which is a very unique and easy to carry product. We can charge this product from solar energy. Like you can see, we have a 40 Watt solar panel. All you need to do is connect this with the system and it will be charged. When solar energy is not.

Available, we have an adapter which we can easily use to connect to main to charge. There are two LED bulbs provided with the product. We can easily connect these two bulbs with the system and see. These LED bulbs are of 3 Watt and if we connect one LED to the system, it will give us almost 23 hours of battery backup. You can also connect lot more appliances to the system like DC TV. You can connect a 25 Watt DC TV with this small system and this DC TV will start working. Like you can see the DC TV is switched on. You can also.

Connect a 10 Watt DC fan to this system. There is a symbol of fan on this system. So, we can connect the fan here and start the fan. You can also charge your phone with this. There is a USB port provided here in front of it. So, you can connect it here and charge your phone. Here is also a FM port provided. So, you can connect it to FM and listen to it. As you can see my phone is charging here and you can use this product not only in villages.
